MOTORIZATION

Motorized operation offers the ultimate in convenience.
Through the touch of a button, switch, or computer command, shades can be raised or lowered to any position. CONRAD offers a full range of ultra-quiet, state-of-the-art motorization systems from SOMFY. We work together with you to make motorization easy and customize a plan to meet your requirements.

CONRAD offers both line voltage and low voltage motors, which can be either wireless or hardwired or plugged into any standard 3-prong outlet. A variety of controls and interfaces are available, including remote control (radio or infrared), wall switches (hardwired or wireless), sun controls, timers, and other control options. Motorized shades can also be integrated with your clients’ home automation systems via radio frequency, infrared, RS-232 and dry contact, allowing operation from the same network that controls their lighting, entertainment, heating/cooling and security. Shades can operate independently or simultaneously with other shades, depending upon the components ordered.

If shade projection is a concern, optional Front Operation can help minimize the space between window and shade. The shade waterfalls from the backside of the headerboard, bringing the shade closer to the glass.

CONRAD also offers Motorized Roll-Up Shades, designed for maximizing views.
Shades roll-up neatly around motorized aluminum tubes. Tailored and modern, the shades offer textural beauty and filtered sun control while taking up very little space on the window when fully raised. Installed within recessed pockets or behind custom cornices or valances, the shades roll-up out of view.
